A new exhibit at the Point of Contact Gallery in Syracuse is taking an intimate look at Central New York breast cancer survivor’s personal stories. WAER’s Katie Zilcosky sat down with Project Director Tula Goenka to talk about the project, "Look Now: Facing Breast Cancer."

The exhibit is on view until the end of October. The Point of Contact Gallery is open from 12p.m. to 5 p.m. each weekday, and it is free to the public.

Cindy Bell is the project's photographer and Sara Felice is the exhibit's curator.

This is part of Syracuse University's Syracuse Symposium series. Its theme of 2018-2019 is Stories, "an exploration in how we tell them and what effects whose stories we hear."
