Where were you born and raised?
Plymouth, Michigan (Actually Ann Arbor... Plymouth had
no hospital then.)
When did you begin working at WAER?
1996. I came here from KPRG (Public Radio for Guam). I
started in public radio in 1985 as a volunteer at KSTK,
Wrangell Alaska.
What do you do at WAER?
I'm
responsible for how we sound and the smooth operation of the
station.
What was the most unusual job you ever had?
Removing bricks and soot from a smokestack knocked over by a
tornado for $1 an hour.
Why do you love public radio?
I
believe public radio still has a soul and that it can make a
difference.
What are your hobbies?
Music.
I play bass guitar (and some other instruments). I enjoy my
family, my
home and my pets. (Syrius, Ghost & Missy)
