A unique STEM program for teenage students in the Syracuse area teaches computer design and 3-D printing, culminating in the actual creation of prosthetics for people who need them here in Syracuse and in Ghana. The fitting of some of the devices was done today to fine-tune the products for the recipients.

Special summer program for 9th to 12th graders, AT&T Hand in Hand, teaches youth computer skills, design, 3-D printing, all while making a working hand for someone who lost or was born without one. Partners in Education and Business, CNY STEM and le Moyne College also partner on program. Deadline for applying is June 28.
