Two smaller-scale Pride events in Central New York take place this weekend ahead of the region's large annual festivals set for later this month.

A Pride Flag raising ceremony will take place at Syracuse City Hall on Saturday. The event starts at 11 a.m. At noon, CNY Pride pop-up event kicks off at Stone Quarry Art Park in Cazenovia and lasts until around 9 p.m. An online event flyer for the art park event, which suggests a $5 donation, encourages attendees to bring their own picnic and camping supplies.

Cazenovia's annual Pride celebration is on the calendar for next week, while CNY Pride's festival and parade is scheduled for June 25 at the Inner Harbor.
