Cyclists from 40 states are making a 400-mile trek during the 24th Annual Cycle the Erie Canal Bike Tour.

About 750 participants left Buffalo over the weekend for the annual eight-day tour and will be cycling all the way to Albany. Most will only travel about 40 to 60 miles per day.

Cyclists range in age from 10 years old to 83 years old. They started on Monday in Medina and will be heading to Fairport near Rochester. On Tuesday, they’ll cycle to Seneca Falls, and on Wednesday they’ll arrive in Syracuse.
