Central NY digging itself out of up to 22 inches of snow

The Syracuse region is waking up to piles of snow that a late-season storm dumped across the region.

The National Weather Service's snow reports from the last 24 hours show at least one part of our neighboring Madison County experienced nearly 2 feet of snow. Areas closer to the city of Syracuse saw about half that, but still a significant tally.

Snowfall reports across the region from a mid-March nor'easter range from a high of 22 inches in Cazenovia to a low of 6.5 inches in Fulton.
