Officials are in the process of identifying and notifying close contacts. Members who attended the services may have been exposed and should monitor themselves for symptoms for 14 days.
The health department says with more faith communities reopening for in-person services, it’s critical that leadership follow all guidance to reduce the risk of exposure. Congregants must stay home if they’re sick, and attendees must wear masks and stay six feet apart (unless they're members of the same household).
Officials also recommend that all services have a sign-in sheet for attendees to provide contact information such as name, address, and phone number for the purposes of contact tracing in case of potential exposure.
