Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh has issued a snow safety alert as a Lake Effect Snowstorm Warning remains in effect through Sunday, January 5. Parking restrictions are in place on:

100 & 200 blocks S. Warren St.

Plows will focus on clearing major roads before addressing side streets once heavy snowfall eases. Downtown parking restrictions will be enforced, with towing for violators.
