Joe HenneberryCorporate Support Representative
I’ve been a public radio geek most of my life because of a deep love of music and learning. Public broadcasting has been the best place to incorporate these values into my daily routine. While working in sales for most of the past 25 years, WAER was a constant companion on my car radio. When I saw there was an opening at the station where I could use my experience to contribute to the continued growth of WAER, I jumped at the chance. I’m so glad I did. It’s great to be part of a team that is so professional and dedicated to the public radio message. In my position speaking with the local business community, I see myself as helping to spread the news about what an asset WAER is to the local community. My wife and I are former business owners, so I understand how important marketing is. And it’s easy to see how public radio can be an effective platform for all sorts of businesses, organizations, and events.
When not busy speaking to the community about WAER, Joe is a busy freelance trumpet player. He lives in Mexico, New York with his wife Lucienne and has two grown children.
