Joe Henneberry

Joe Henneberry has been public radio geek most of his life because of a deep love of music and learning. While working in sales for most of the past 25 years, WAER was a constant companion on his car radio. When there was an opening at WAER, he jumped at the chance.

In his position speaking with the local business community, he helps spread the news about what an asset WAER is to the local community. As a former business owner, he understands how important marketing is, and how public radio can be an effective platform for all sorts of businesses, organizations and events. When not busy speaking to the community about WAER, Joe is a busy freelance trumpet player. He lives in the University neighborhood, with his wife Lucienne and has two grown children.
