Field Researcher / Social Media Manager / Web WriterMax Gifford is an undergraduate student studying Broadcast & Digital Journalism at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, expected to graduate in May 2026. Max serves WAER as a field researcher, social media manager, and web writer. Max helps cover community meetings and events for WAER, and additionally manages the social media and web assets for WAER to post content online. Max is proud to call St. Louis, Missouri home and can recite the entire script to the Pixar movie "Cars."
