It’s no secret that Syracuse has opportunity on its horizon. But to fully take advantage of what lies ahead, the city needs the workforce to do so. In a renewed effort to bring people out of concentrated poverty and make sure that opportunity is available to individuals historically left out, cross-sector workforce development initiatives are launching in Syracuse. Some of the programs are already starting to see promising results. How are these programs different, what did it take to get here, and how can these successful programs continue?
