The Voice of Food: Rolling in the Deep Dish

As New Yorkers we like to think that we know pizza pretty well. But, down on Burnet Avenue in Syracuse, The Tangy Tomato is cooking up something a little bit different. And that's Chicago style deep dish pizza. On the debut episode of The Voice of Food, Kevin Kloss sat down with owner Melanie Austin to learn about how they got started. What is different about trying to cook deep dish? How did she learn the tricks of the trade? And what has been the reaction from the Central New York community?
