Justin Bachman Chooses to 'Live Loud' and Teach Others About Tolerance

An estimated 200,000 Americans struggle with a severe form of Tourette’s syndrome,  and as many as one in 100 milder and less complex symptoms such as chronic motor or vocal tics. Often times leading to misinterpretation of their symptoms as behavioral problems.

WAER’s Alexandra Jennerjahn has this special report on one Syracuse University student who has taken his experience with Tourette’s and turned it into an opportunity to encourage others.

Kevin Kloss is proud to serve as the Content and Operations Manager at WAER Syracuse Public Media. In addition to managing content for broadcast and digital distribution he also oversees the Sports department at WAER and their coverage of Syracuse University athletics. He also plays an important role as the lead producer for several of the station’s flagship programs including Syracuse Speaks and City Limits.
