CNY Assembly race between Fiato & Brown will guarantee new face in Albany

CNY Decides presented by WAER Syracuse Public Media and Central Current

When Maurice 'Mo' Brown beat Bill Magnarelli in the Democratic Assembly primary, it meant the 129th District would have a new representative. Republican Shawn Fiato is also vying for the seat that includes Auburn, Baldwinsville, Skaneateles and other portions of Onondaga and Cayuga Counties.

On this episode of CNY Decides, WAER's Chris Bolt speaks with Central Current's Eddie Velazquez, who's written about the race. Velazquez shares elements of his reporting on key issues in the race and how each candidate is conducting their campaign.

CNY Decides is a joint voter-education project of WAER Syracuse Public Media and Central Current.
