Local leaders will present a recently completed neighborhood development strategy for the area around Le Moyne College at an open house this weekend.
The study, known as the Le Moyne Area Neighborhood Development Strategy or LANDS, looked at housing, quality of life, infrastructure, transportation and other neighborhood needs. Some of the proposals include improving physical infrastructure, enhancing services, and creating more neighborhood engagement. Around 3,800 people live in the neighborhood.
The open house will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Soule Library on Salt Springs Road. Residents are invited to drop in for refreshments and more information on the report.
