Syracuse Water Department crews will begin the installation of a new water main pipe Tuesday at the intersection of West Genesee Street and Milton Avenue.
That means the intersection will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday between the hours of 7 a.m. until approximately 3:30 p.m.
On Thursday, the intersection will reopen but lanes will be reduced as the work continues.
The length of the project will depend on how the weather cooperates and is a part of the city’s "dig once" road work.
