Syracuse.com reports Rebecca Shiroff’s lawyer is challenging affidavit ballots after new state laws make it more lenient as to how votes are reviewed.
Right now, Onondaga and Oswego county boards of elections say they don’t intend to provide detailed information concerning individual ballots to parties under the new provisions that remove a candidate’s input, according to the newspaper.
State Supreme Court Justice Scott DelConte expects to make a decision as early as Tuesday morning, the article stated.
