Assemblymember Al Stirpe attends Governor Andrew Cuomo's announcement that the State Fair will reopen in 2021 at 100% capacity.

It was nearly six years ago when Governor Andrew Cuomo officially announced a $50 million investment to overhaul the State Fairgrounds. His effort to transform the Fair will continue this year and years to come, even though he will shut the doors to his office. His resignation will take effect during the State Fair this year, on August 24th. WAER’s John Smith spoke with Assemblymember Al Stirpe about Cuomo’s departure and the upcoming State Fair.
