COVID-19 State-wide positivity rate declines, another 20 people die of the virus

The 7 day COVID-19 positivity rate has declined by nearly 15 percent in the State to just under 30 percent in the past week. However, there were 20 deaths reported from the virus State-wide on Tuesday. Cases per 100,000 on were at 23.70 percent. 2,162 patients were hospitalized state-wide with 210 in the ICU. Governor Hochul encourages people to continue to get vaccinated or boosted and to utilize testing and to seek treatment when experiencing COVID symptoms.
