Rep. Claudia Tenney Blames Democrats For Remington Arms Headquarters Moving

Congresswoman commented the firearms industry after the oldest gun manufacturer announced to relocate to Georgia on Nov. 8 in the press release.

Gun manufacturer Remington Firearms will move its headquarters to from Ilion, New York to Georgia, and Congressmember Claudia Tenney is blaming democrats for the move.

Tenneyin a release said that democrats, “...Made it clear their mission was to destroy the Empire State’s iconic fire arms industry.”

When announcing the move, RemArms CEO Ken D’Arcy said Georgia is, “a state that not only welcomes business but enthusiastically supports and welcomes companies in the firearms industry.”

The future of the plant in Ilion is unclear.

Congressmember Tenney is worried this will bring those manufacturing jobs “to an abrupt end.” She said she is “in touch with local stakeholders and will work to mitigate any fallout from this decision.”
