Time is running out for Onondaga County residents who might want to change their political party enrollment. The deadline to change parties is Monday, February 14th. Any changes received after that will not be processed until July 5th, which is after the June 28th primary.

The Onondaga County Board of Elections website says the deadline for those who submit their party change online through the DMV is midnight on February 13th.

Forms to change party enrollment are available at ongov.net/elections or dmv.ny.gov.

New York State voting qualifications declare one must be a U.S. citizen and at least 18 years old to be eligible to vote.
