Volunteers and maintenance crews are honoring #EarthDay by spending today & tomorrow picking roadside garbage in the #HudsonValley
Garbage is detrimental to wildlife and is a hazard. Please dispose of garbage properly.#Litter#SafetyFirst pic.twitter.com/IV9p4et6fO
Crews will be found in local communities to help beautify areas, including downtown Syracuse, and protect the environment.
They plan to pick up trash and litter in areas that impact the surrounding habitat and present a safety issue.
