Syracuse’s Salt City Market wants the public’s ideas for a new mural. They’re now requesting proposals for what to paint on their alley’s south-facing wall.
Proposals are open to people all over the country, but owners would prefer to highlight Central New York artists. The famous heart on the wall will be incorporated into whatever mural the artist creates.
The mural is expected to cost between $35,000- $75,000. The deadline for proposals is Friday, June 3, at 5 p.m. -m. You can submit a proposal at saltcitymarket.com/mural-rfp.
