Jamesville Beach is closed until further notice.
The Onondaga County Health Department says the presence of algal blooms have been discovered and crews will continue to monitor water samples to determine when toxins are no longer present.
Officials remind anyone getting into the water elsewhere to also look for the presence of green water or thick surface scums that may appear on the water that can be harmful to eyes and cause diarrhea, if ingested.
