The regularly busy Clinton Square in Downtown Syracuse is adjacent to the city's repaving project.

Roads will remain open as the city starts its repaving project Tuesday in Downtown Syracuse.

The top layers of pavement from West Jefferson Street, in the 200 block near the Museum of Science & Technology, to South Clinton Street are being removed. Pavement removal on North Franklin Street from West Willow Street to West Fayette Street will happen Wednesday.

Work hours for both projects are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. While the roads will not close, parking on the streets will not be accessible.

South Clinton will be repaved on Thursday and North Franklin on Friday.
