Travelers can now monitor parking expansion projects at the Syracuse airport and other upgrades that aim to improve access for passengers.

The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority launched a website to track progress on the developments. The airport is planning to open an additional level on its parking structure by the middle of next month, according to the site. Three parking lots are also set to open in early November.

The board of directors in April approved a concept that will be used to guide development of the final design. The plan will provide an estimated 44% increase in parking capacity, all-weather protection and shorter walking distances.
