An agenda for a special meeting of the Baldwinsville Central School District Board of Education sits on a desk, Oct. 10, 2022.

The Baldwinsville Board of Education will hold a special meeting Monday night after the school superintendent was charged with a DWI Friday evening.

The Baldwinsville Police Department pulled over Superintendent Jason Thomson after he failed to use a turn signal and didn’t have a front license plate, according to a Friday release from the department. They then administered a field sobriety test, the department said.

Thomson attended the Baldwinsville homecoming football game earlier in the evening, and police said several students reported to district staff at the game that they suspected Thomson was under the influence of alcohol.

In an announcement, the school board said members will enter executive session for discussion. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.
