President Joe Biden is coming to Syracuse next week. Governor Kathy Hochul said she looks forward to welcoming the President to the region so he can see how Micron’s plans to build a massive manufacturing facility will impact Central New York communities. Further details of the President’s visit have yet to be announced.

Earlier this month Micron announced it will build a megafab chip plant in Clay at the White Pine Commerce Park. The semiconductor manufacturer plans to invest $100 billion over the next 20 years, and they estimate they’ll generate 50,000 jobs in the area.
