Rescue Mission welcomes back in-person volunteers

Volunteers gather and package diapers to distribute to those in need.

With the holiday season around the corner, the Rescue Mission Alliance of Syracuse is welcoming back in-person volunteers for Thanksgiving and Christmas festivities.

People of all ages are welcome to help at both on- and off-site locations.

Volunteer opportunities include baking, serving meals, purchasing gifts and collecting winter apparel.

Kennedy Houston is a graduate student studying Broadcast and Digital Journalism at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, expected to graduate in August 2023. As a producer she will be resposible for proucing the evening shows on Friday's. Kennedy enjoys reading and watching fantasy and sci-fi.
