A road closed sign closes off a street that is under construction.

Road work is beginning on Milton Avenue in the Tipperary Hill neighborhood Tuesday.

The City of Syracuse is milling and paving from Tompkins to West Genesee streets. Construction begins around 7 a.m. and will last until about 5 p.m. each day.

During the construction, the road will be open to traffic but with lane reductions. To see progress on this and other city road reconstruction projects, visit the City of Syracuse 2022 Road Reconstruction Projects website.
