U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. continues to honor a pledge when he was first elected by visiting all 62 New York counties this year for the 24th time.
The senate majority leader was in Onondaga County before and after the passing of the CHIPS and Science Act, which is credited with helping lure Micron to build a semiconductor manufacturing plant in Clay.
In total, Schumer made 118 county visits, including 18 in Central New York. He promises to maintain that pace as he enters his fifth term in office.
