Onondaga Community College is a two-year college located on a 280-acre campus in Central New York.

Onondaga Community College signed transfer agreements with two Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) on Wednesday. The agreements are with Lincoln University (LU)and Johnson C. Smith University (JCSU).

OCC President Dr. Warren Hilton said these transfer agreements will give OCC students valuable educational options.

OCC students who complete their associate degrees with a minimum 2.0 grade point average will have a seamless pathway to enter JCSU with full junior standing in most programs. Students who enroll in a full-time course load will receive at least $8,000 in aid.

Similarly, OCC students will be eligible to transfer with junior status into LU programs in the schools of Social Sciences and Behavioral Studies, Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and Humanities.

LU is located in Pennsylvania, about 50 miles west of Philadelphia. JCSU is located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
