Syracuse police make arrest in Christmas Eve homicide case

Syracuse police are currently detaining Williams as he waits arraignment.

Syracuse police say they’ve made an arrest in a murder that occurred on Christmas Eve last year.

A victim, 19-year-old Mikere Rondinello was shot in the 600 block of Richmond Ave. Police arrested the suspect, 18-year-old Quess Williams. He is charged with second degree murder and one count of criminal possession of a weapon.

Williams is currently being held at the Onondaga County justice center as he awaits arraignment.
