A woman has died after a school bus collided with a pick-up truck in Oswego County yesterday morning.

Police said 63-year-old Theresa Steele was a bus monitor, working on a Mexico Academy Central School District bus. Steele was traveling with the driver, 69-year-old Mark Vosseller when he failed to yield at a stop sign and hit a truck.

Steele was taken to Upstate University Hospital with severe head injuries after the incident.

Police said Vosseller was given a ticket and taken to Upstate. The driver of the truck was also taken to Upstate and released after being treated.

There were no kids on the bus at the time of the crash. The investigation for the crash is still ongoing.
