The Syracuse Police Athletic and Activities League will launch Spring registration this Saturday for boys and girls baseball, flag football and soccer.

Syracuse PAL brings youth and members of law enforcement together through a variety of sports, games and other programs.

Director of Community Engagement Jimmy Oliver said the PAL program plants positive seeds of connections between the police and young members of the community.

"If we continue to do that consistently; we will see the fruits of our labor here in the upcoming years," Oliver said. "Of course, we see those, that progress every single day that we are in front of the kids that we are serving our community.”

All three programs will begin May 8 and run through June 20. They’ll have groups for ages 6 to 18 years old.

Applications will be handed out within the Syracuse City School District to certain age groups. These applications will be also be available on their Instagram and Facebook pages at Syrpal44.
