Syracuse Ukrainian Festival Kicks Off This Weekend

Pan fried pierogies
Pyrohy (pierogies) are among the delicacies available at this weekend's Ukranian Festival in Syracuse.

The Syracuse Ukrainian Festival begins this Friday at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church on Tipperary Hill. Running from 4 to 10 p.m. Friday and 12 to 10 p.m. Saturday, the event will feature traditional Ukrainian food, live music, dance performances, and crafts.

This year's festival also supports Ukraine, with donations and a special beer collaboration benefiting charities for war relief. Admission is free, and attendees can expect a food-filled, culturally rich experience. More information is available online at Syracuse Ukrainian Festival | St. John the Baptist (stjohnbaptistucc.com).
