Farmers, bakers and flower sellers will return to Syracuse’s Clinton Square Tuesday morning, June 9th, for the seasonal start of the Downtown Syracuse Farmers Market.

The market will run every Tuesday during the summer with a variety of fruits and vegetables, flowers and plants for sale, baked goods and other food items. There are also booths with nutrition and health information, including the Onondaga County Public Library.

Lunchtime visitors can enjoy music most Tuesdays.

SNAP recipients can doulbe the value of benefits through an on-site process:

  • Show the team your SNAP (EBT) card and ask for Double Up Food Bucks.
  • For every $1 deducted from your SNAP account, you will receive a $2 token.

The Downtown Farmers market runs Tuesdays 8:00 am to 2:00 pm through October 13.
