Here's the latest information on the storm's impact for Wednesday:
· A travel advisory remains in effect until 5 p.m. in Onondaga County. The snow is expected to be lighter, but winds will cause blowing and drifting. The advisory does not restrict travel, but officials urge residents to consider the need to be on the roads so crews can continue to plow them.
· On that note, the City of Syracuse is reminding residents to shovel out and move their vehicles from side streets so department of public works crews can plow streets. If vehicles are not moved, the streets won’t be plowed.
· Syracuse University is once again operating on limited activity status. Administrative staff is not required to report to campus. Essential services employees are asked to report as previously scheduled, if they are able to do so in a safe manner.
· The SU men’s basketball NIT game is still on for 7 p.m. at the Carrier Dome. Join WAER for countdown to tip-off at 6:30.
