How To Be A Person

An alarming number of today's kids leave home without knowing certain basic life skills.  From doing laundry to using a debit card to calculating a tip, there are things we want our children to know to move through the world with confidence and grace.

On the latest WAER Conversation, I speak with Catherine Newman, author of How To Be A Person: 65 Hugely Useful, Super-Important Skills to Learn Before You're Grown Up, about her whimsical graphic book that promises to help kids become valuable members of the grown-up world.
