New York State has wrapped up a major paving project in Salina and Dewitt that also includes nearly a mile of new sidewalks. The 8.8 million-dollar project resurfaced parts of State Route 298 and Thompson Road, including Military and Carrier Circles. The new sidewalk stretches from Thompson Road from Carrier Circle to James Street. The project also included new crosswalks and other pavement markings to improve safety for motorists and pedestrians. Read the details here.
