A Syracuse man faces up to 25 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to numerous firearms charges.
Federal prosecutors say 24-year-old Mergim Ademi admitted he sold firearms and firearm parts through Facebook and other means between January 2023 and last March. He did not hold a firearms dealer license.
Ademi also admitted he sold guns and ammunition to a suspected felon, and to a customer at a location near a Syracuse charter school, both of which violate federal law. He’ll be sentenced in November.
