The City of Syracuse is seeking feedback from residents on its housing strategy. The meeting will provide residents with an opportunity to learn about and provide feedback on the plan, which addresses housing market and affordability gaps in neighborhoods across the city.
The public meeting is likely the first of many opportunities for residents to weigh in after a vote by the common council was postponed. Councilor-at-large Rasheada Caldwell said the process lacked public engagement.
The meeting will be held Wednesday, August 21st at 5:30 at Soule Branch Library on Springfield Road. The study and strategy are available at syracusehousingstudy.com.
