Blooming Brands Restaurant Corportation has closed its last Outback Steakhouse in Central New York. The corporation is offering employees at its Clay location transfers or severance packages.
The closest Outback Steakhouses remain in Horseheads and Rochester. Blooming Brand’s gift cards are still valid there and at the Bonefish and Carrabba’s Italian Grill restaurants in Syracuse.
The company says it is shutting down underperforming locations across the country, including in Ohio, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania.
