Onondaga County voters can avoid waits at select early voting sites

Onondaga County residents heading to any of the ten early voting sites have options if they want to avoid waiting in line to cast their ballots.

The Clay and Dewitt town hall locations are traditionally the busiest, with wait times ranging from 20 to 40 minutes, depending on the time of day.

The board of elections consistently reports virtually no waits at the three city locations, as well as Lafayette, OCC, and Lysander sites.

Wait times at the Camillus and North Syracuse locations are also typically shorter.

Voters can check waits in real time at onvote.net. Polls are open today until 8 p-m. Early voting continues through Sunday.
