Lane closure planned for I-81 Southbound in Syracuse

The New York State Department of Transportation will reduce Interstate 81 southbound to one lane between the I-690 eastbound ramp and Exit 18 Harrison/Adams Streets in Syracuse.

The closure is scheduled for a bridge inspection from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m. starting Wednesday, November 20 through Friday, November 22. It will be closed again on Monday, November 25.

Drivers should exercise caution and be aware of increased fines for speeding in work zones.
