Central New York home sales dipped by nearly 19% in October compared to the same month last year.
The Greater Syracuse Association of Realtors (GSAR) says that slide is typical for the final months of the year.
New data also show median home prices cooled off, rising less than a half percent year-over-year to $226,000.
GSAR says that combination is good news for buyers because there’s more inventory on the market that’s within their budget.
