Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and FamilyCare Medical group have reached a deal to keep the provider in the Excellus network.

It’s the second major provider the insurance company has reached a deal with this month. The move impacts 30,000 patients.

Excellus is still in negotiations with St. Joseph’s Health which is demanding large rate hikes to address a structural operating deficit. The deadline to reach that deal is January first.
