Long-term construction projects are set to affect traffic in Central New York throughout 2025. On I-81 Southbound at Exit 16A in Syracuse, the ramp to I-481 Northbound will remain closed until December 31, 2025.

Similarly, in Cicero on I-481 Northbound and Southbound, the ramps to I-81 Northbound will be closed continuously through the end of the year.

Drivers should follow the posted detour signs, plan for delays, and adjust travel routes accordingly.
