A Salina man has been sentenced to 71 months in federal prison for robbing a gas station in January 2022. Quashawn Pettiford, 34, admitted to working with two others to steal over $3,200 in cash and merchandise from the store and its clerk.
Prosecutors say the robbers wore masks, and two of them carried BB guns resembling real firearms. One of them pressed a weapon into the clerk’s neck while demanding money. Pettiford must also serve three years of supervised release and pay restitution.
