The ramp closure from I-481 northbound to the New York State Thruway has been extended through the end of next week.
The state Department of Transportation says inclement weather delayed ongoing paving work, which is part of the larger I-81 viaduct project.
Drivers are being detoured to the Bridgeport exit, where they can turn around and access the Thruway from I-481 southbound.
